Children in the early years learn and develop many skills through play. There is a natural curiosity and a sense of wonder and amazement in each child and this may be fostered and accelerated through play.
Through their play we aim, in Cygnet House, to involve the girls and boys between the ages of 3 - 4 years, in a variety of well-planned experiences so that they are exposed to learning situations designed to foster a range of skills.
With the next stage of education in mind, they will have opportunities to further develop in the six areas of learning which are:
Personal, Social & Emotional Development
Language
The Arts
The World Around Us
Early Mathematical Experiences
Physical Development
